In 1986 Francesco started working as a Location Scout for Politecne, an italian Film Production company. In the following decade, as Massimo Magri’s Assistant Director, he’s been in charge of a number of documentary, commercial and industrial film sets around the world. After graduating from the Intensive Filmmaking Program at New York University, Nencio directed commercials for Coca Cola, Kodak, Martini, Mc Donald’s, Swatch, Tuborg, Volkswagen.Private Eye, his first monographic exhibition as a photographer, opened at L’Affiche Gallery in Milan on February 17, 2005. I Non Luoghi, a documentary project on modern metropolises inspired by the essay of anthropologist’s Marc Augé on NonPlaces, was published by Silvana Editoriale and awarded the First Absolute Prize at Orvieto Foto Festival in 2006. Be Someone, Nencini’s colourful reportage behind the scenes of Show Biz, won a Prize at Toscana Foto Festival and his work was also nominated in the Abstract Category at The International Colour Awards in the United States. Bio Lee NelsonLee Nelson is the President and CEO of EMA, the award winning Production Company he launched in 2002 producing Film, TV and Television Commercials. Over his career Nelson has Executive Produced and produced award winning spots for Coca-Cola, Sony, Ford, Toyota, and T-Com among hundreds of other prestigious accounts. Nelson has an extensive career in the motion picture industry and is currently in pre-production on the feature film THE FREEZER which will be directed by Mikael Salomon (HARD RAIN, BAND OF BROTHERS). Bio Marcus NispelGerman born Marcus Nispel started his career in advertising as an art director for Young & Rubicam in Frankfurt, Germany. He came to America on a Fulbright scholarship in 1984 at the age of 20 and made his directing debut in 1989 with a series of music videos for C&C Music Factory. While living in New York, Nispel co-founded and operated his own production company, Portfolio Artists Network, before merging with Ridley Scott and Tony Scott’s RSA-USA to form Portfolio/Black Dog. He joined MJZ in 2000. To date, Nispel has directed over one thousand commercials and music videos.
